I founded OJIS Travels & Advisory out of a deep passion for service to humanity, travel, and storytelling — and, above all, a belief that tourism can be a force for positive change.

I believe sustainability in tourism and hospitality, in Africa and around the world, should be practical, relevant, and achievable — not an abstract ideal, but something that can be understood, communicated, and applied in practice.

Our philosophy is simple: progress over perfection. Every informed choice, responsible action, and meaningful collaboration can contribute to a more sustainable future.

As tourism and hospitality continue to grow across Africa and around the world, we have an opportunity to shape that growth responsibly. At OJIS, we help turn good intentions into informed action by supporting tourism and hospitality businesses in strengthening their sustainability practices, communicating their impact, and creating long-term value.

We also believe that stories have the power to influence how people see places, businesses, communities, and the role of tourism itself. Through purposeful content, compelling storytelling, photography, video, and visual communication, we document and amplify the people, practices, places, and solutions shaping a more responsible and sustainable industry.

Our approach is shaped by an interdisciplinary background spanning Theatre and Media Art, Hospitality and Tourism, and Business Management, complemented by formal training with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and professional certification in Content Creation. This combination allows us to approach tourism and sustainability through both a strategic and creative lens — considering people, culture, communities, the environment, business resilience, communication, storytelling, and long-term value.

Our perspective is rooted in Africa, but our outlook is global. We tell stories from across the continent and around the world, believing that meaningful sustainable tourism is built by connecting global ideas with local realities, learning across borders, and recognizing the people and communities at the heart of tourism.
